Slippers Slippers Everywhere!
Brrrr… the weather outside is frightful. Can you imagine if you were without your favorite pair of warm fuzzy slippers? I’ve started collecting slippers for a local shelter. Oftentimes, children taken out of abusive situations flee with only the clothes on their back. That is not cool. Or warm. I’ve determined that a pair of good slippers (not flip-flops) with some type of non-skid sole on the bottom is a real bargain if found for under $3-4 a pair. I am stocking these (among many things) at a friend’s house as my closet space is sorely lacking. If you see slippers on sale, please let me know. Or send a pair on over. Am in need of toddler age and especially little and big boy ones. Thanks for considering – and Sonoma County thanks you too!!

I know I talk a LOT about how grateful I am for food. I’ve never been seriously hungry, so I can’t grasp how appreciative I’d be if I was completely without. Today I am grateful for last night’s leftover bowl of veggie & meat pho (sorry, vegetarians). It was warm and nourishing and my gi tract seriously thanks you. Really good broth is the best.
